Who can't use PALITE's Online Individual Filing?

There are some reasons that you may not be able to use our online filing system.

  • You lived at more than three Pennsylvania addresses during the tax year.
  • You moved at some time during the tax year AND have multiple W-2 forms from the same employer.
  • You have a W-2 form with local withholdings reported for Philadelphia (sometimes noted as Phila, PHI, or 51) in box 20.
  • You have one or more W-2 forms that include "Third Party Sick Pay". You should see a checkbox on your W-2 with that title. If it's marked, then the W-2 is for Third Party Sick pay and you should file on paper with your tax office.
  • You have a Clergy Housing Allowance to report.
  • You need to file an amended return. Contact your local office for details on filing an amended return.
